Team Building at the Belfray inn

Hey everyone. Happy Friday. The girls and I took a little overnight team-building day out to the Belfray Country Inn at the end of June

We cannot sing their praises high enough. The staff were so accommodating of our needs to knowing who's tea/coffee went where while we were up at the carvery to specific dietary requirements being made fresh to order and have it ready very quickly which when you're dealing with people who have lived experience of neurological conditions as well as some of our staff having conditions themselves, it's very important to have a good flow and the Belfray certainly did.

Our team building was a brilliant success, we all got to understand each other better from a job roles perspective as we are continuing to evolve and grow the team, We also got to understand each other personally and have a good laugh when we were having dinner. When we were having dinner the chefs and all the staff were amazing, from the food knowledge to the quality of the food, we were all very impressed with our dining experience.

After the team building, we went and had a bit of a rest before dinner and sat down to eat about 7ish. Again the chefs were superb, the quality of the food was delicious and the portion sizes were great for those who like a full dinner.

We are working on a few new things behind the scenes which we hope to be able to bring to you soon. Look forward to updates about our new developments as we can announce more.

Before the night ended we met up with Annette and Renate who back in March held a holistic therapy night to raise money for our charity. On the night they raised over £600, We were presented with a cheque by Annette and had a photo with her and Jason the manager of the Belfray Inn.

From a neurodiverse point of view, the Inn is great, they've wonderful textured wallpaper in the hallways and function rooms. The chairs are textured too plus for anyone visually impaired like our PRO the tactile flooring on the ramps was a great accessibility feature

Before heading home, the girls and I headed to the Derry Girls Mural for a photo and a drive around to take in the area. We are looking forward to future team events, especially as our team evolves.
