I started practicing Yoga 17 years ago.  I thought it was interesting but I preferred the gym and weight training.

 

During a practice 4 years later my breathing, my mind and my body all started to sync together and I just "got it" I felt the Yoga bliss.  

 

I dont get this "bliss" after every practice but I definitely feel much better mentally and physically after every practice.

 

Thus inspired by this awakening of both body and mind I continued to practice and  completed my Yoga Teaching Certificate in November 2017, Yoga for Kids Certificate in February 2018 and a wonderful Yoga Meditation Certificate under the guidance of Yogacharya Michael McCann in November 2019.

 

For me Yoga has been a journey mentally and physically with many twists, turns and bumps on the road.  I have learnt and continue to do so.  I invite everyone to try and experience the delight of Yoga for themselves.

The beauty of Yoga is that any one can practice it.  You are never too overweight, too old or too unfit to start.

 

Yoga not only benefits the body but gives you a great sense of peace and compassion within.

 

Yoga quiets the chatter in the mind and Drs strongly recomnend the practice of Yoga for relaxation and stress relief.
